PAID v FREE Internship:
Why pay for an education when you can get it for free?
It’s the age old saying ” You really do get what you pay for”
Free may seem like the cheaper option but having to work 6 months without a wage is actually a very expensive way of obtaining your Divemaster Qualification.
14-hour days without a day off is sadly considered normal.
The training is usually very poor quality and only given when the centre is quiet but, in all fairness, a respectable dive centre should never be quiet.
Most reputable dive centres will have their own staff in place to look after bookings, sales, social media etc.
Doing all this is not part of a Divemaster’s role or training.
Again, you really do get what you pay for.
By paying for your training:
you get a dedicated instructional team who will give you a quality education.
Depending upon your previous experience, it takes between one to two months to become a Divemaster, then for the rest of your duration you can go off and get a paid job as a professional Divemaster, not only getting a wage but gaining REAL experience working in the industry.
This is by far the cheaper way to obtain your Divemaster qualification.

This course focuses on everything you need to learn about the professional aspects of diving. We will focus on daily goals in order to complete every part of the course within the agreed time limits.
What you will learn:
The PADI Divemaster course teaches you to be a leader and take charge of dive activities. Through knowledge development sessions, water skills exercises and workshops, and hands-on practical assessment, you develop the skills to organise and direct a variety of scuba diving activities. Requirements:
Must be able to speak basic English
Positive and Enthusiastic Attitude.
Enjoy Working as part of a Team.
Want to gain an insight into what it’s like to work as a Professional Scuba Diver.
We welcome divers of all ages, nationalities and levels including those with no previous experience of scuba diving, and we are happy to complete any of the courses leading up to Divemaster as part of your internship!
Internship Accommodation:
We also provide you with accommodation, just a few minutes’ walk from the beach for the duration of your Internship here with us which will really give you the full Caribbean Experience!
The accommodation is of a high standard with kitchen, bathroom, laundry facilities and outdoor terrace, Located just one minute from our shop, Tyrell Bay and a great variety of shops, cafes, bars, restaurants, supermarkets, cash machines and plenty more.
Before you come:
Once you have booked, we will provide you with your PADI eLearning materials which makes it easy to fit scuba lessons into a busy schedule. Learn about scuba diving principles and terminology whenever, wherever it’s convenient for you.
It’s your course on your time. Study offline, or online using a computer or mobile device. Connect with your instructor whenever you have a question.
You can do all theory before you arrive in the comfort of your own home, freeing up your holiday time.
