PADI Open Water Course:
On the sunny Island of Carriacou, the visibility is usually excellent and can be in excess of 90 metres, our Caribbean waters are calm and warm even throughout the winter with minimal currents
There is fantastic variety of life in our waters including Turtles, Nursing Sharks, Octopus, Seahorses, we also have the second largest Coral Reef outside the Great Barrier Reef and there are several species of Rays some of which grow to be over two meters in length!
We are very passionate about our conservation and looking after the environment, so we have removed our previous paper manuals and replaced them with eco-friendly ELearning instead. The beauty of this is that you can complete all the theory side of the course before you even arrive, freeing up your precious holiday time!

Before you come:
Once you have booked, we will provide you with your PADI eLearning materials which makes it easy to fit scuba lessons into a busy schedule. Learn about scuba diving principles and terminology whenever, wherever it’s convenient for you.
It’s your course on your time. Study offline, or online using a computer or mobile device. Connect with your instructor whenever you have a question.
You can do all theory before you arrive in the comfort of your own home, freeing up your holiday time.
There will be a maximum ratio of 4 students to 1 instructor. Minimum age 10 years old
When you are here:
Practice using scuba gear in confined open water until you’re comfortable. PADI training includes practice “mini dives” to help you build confidence in your new abilities before making four dives in open water.
Prerequisites: Medically fit for diving
Total time commitment: 3 to 4 days
Minimum age: 10 years or older
Depth: Junior Open Water – Maximum depth is 12m/40ft. Open Water – maximum allowed depth is 18m/60ft
